About Praxis
Praxis is an online postgraduate journal of philosophy edited by postgraduate students at the University of Manchester. Our aim is to offer an opportunity for research students, post-doctoral scholars and new academics to publish papers and reviews in an international peer-reviewed journal, providing special support for those in the beginning of their academic career.
We aim to help less experienced authors to improve the quality of their work to match the standard expected from a professional philosopher. In accordance with our mission, all authors of submitted papers will receive feedback, and authors of short-listed papers will receive extensive feedback from our referees, including guidance on how to meet the standards required for publication.
Every issue of Praxis will include a selection of papers, reviews and an interview. We will also publish short responses to previously published papers, which may be sent at any moment and will go online as soon as they go through the peer-reviewing process.
Praxis is published three times a year, in April, August and December.
